Assembly Workshop Highlights

Our skilled technicians follow standardized assembly procedures, ensuring each component — from the bowl assembly to the discharge head — meets precise engineering specifications. Key assembly stages include:

  • Component Inspection: Every incoming part undergoes dimensional and material verification before entering the assembly line.
  • Impeller Stacking & Alignment: Precision stacking of impellers onto the shaft with laser alignment verification for optimal hydraulic performance.

  • Shutoff Head Verification: The measured shutoff head shall not be less than 99% of the maximum rated head.
  • Triple-Pressure Testing: FM approved VTP pumps undergo 3* shutoff head pressure testing for bowl, pipe, and discharge head assemblies.
  • Design Speed Compliance: Vertical shaft turbine pump design speed is limited to ≤ 1,800 rpm, in strict accordance with FM 1312 Section 3.2.15.

Additional Performance Testing

  • Dynamic balance testing on rotating assemblies to minimize vibration and extend bearing life.
  • Full hydraulic performance curve verification (flow rate, head, efficiency).
  • Mechanical run test to validate bearing temperatures, seal integrity, and noise levels under operating conditions.
